Google Spreadsheets: updates and bug fixes

Hi everyone,

Google Spreadsheets updated a few hours back with the following new features:

Email as an attachment - from the share button you can now email your Google Spreadsheets workbook out directly as an attachment in .xls, .csv, .ods, .pdf and other popular formats. Learn more: http://docs.google.com/support/bin/answer.py?hl=en&answer=58225

We've also fixed quite a few bugs:

Users unable to create/edit/format/save spreadsheets in IE8 unless 'Display Compatibility Mode' is turned on - FIXED. Let us know if this is still a problem for you.

i18n characters in description are not displayed correctly in IE and Safari when viewing or embedding a form - FIXED.

Forms created from spreadsheets aren't embeddable in Sites - FIXED.

ImportRange shifts timezone when importing dates - FIXED.

Google Docs spreadsheet GoogleFinance function Historical Data retrieval botches up volumes - FIXED.

File error displayed when exporting sheet to XLS containing importfeed() - FIXED.
